Rootz receives German license for online slot games

Rootz Ltd. received a license to operate online slot games in Germany.

Germany passed the State Gaming Treaty in the summer of 2021, with federal and state governments creating national regulations for the operation of online slots for the first time. The regulations place particular emphasis on the protection of players and minors.

Malta-based Rootz has met the requirements of the new state treaty and has therefore received the license to legally operate online slots in the country.
