German electronics maker starts operations in Nigeria

A German consumer electronics maker, Loewe, has launched its first set of products in the Nigerian market as part of its expected growth in the wider West Africa region.

Loewe Technologies Nigeria Limited CEO Omodunke Adelakun announced at the product launch in Lagos that the company has selected Lagos-based Courtleigh Investment Limited as the official and exclusive distributor of the Loewe brand in Nigeria and the countries of West Africa.

She said, “Since its inception, the company has shaped the industry with its iconic products and technical innovations and has received numerous awards for its elegant designs and superior performance.

“It may interest you to know that Loewe is the pioneer of television production around the world. Courtleigh Investment Limited is a leading player in the Nigerian premium luxury and audiovisual market with a retail store for exclusive in-store customer experience, product shopping and reliable after-sales service. Courtleigh grew the retail portion of the business through a Loewe Gallery customer experience under the registered name of Loewe Technology Nigeria Limited.

According to her, Loewe is committed to seeking first-class materials, high-quality craftsmanship and a unique and timeless design.

“Loewe develops its products at its German headquarters and has its own production facilities with an automated production line and handcrafted manufacture for OLED devices that are completely made in Germany,” said Adelakun.
