German American Bancorp: Brett Stilwell joins German American Bank as Market President

German American Bank announces that Brett A. Stilwell has joined the company as Market President. In this role, he will lead the Clark and Floyd County Financial Services team, which provides commercial and personal banking, insurance, investment and wealth management consulting services.
“We are thrilled to have someone of Brett’s caliber of talent join our team. His appointment as Market Chairman strengthens an already strong and dedicated team of local professionals serving Clark and Floyd counties,” said Senior Regional Chairman Adrian Brown. “Brett has many years of experience serving the financial needs of businesses in southern Indiana and Kentucky. His values align well with German American’s focus on customer relationships, taking local decision and a strong commitment to the community.”
Stilwell has over 17 years of financial services experience in southern Indiana and surrounding areas and specializes in working with businesses to help them achieve their financial goals. He is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, a Master of Science in Finance, and a Master of Business Administration. With a community spirit, Stilwell is involved in many local organizations. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Board of One Southern Indiana and holds leadership positions with the Harrison County YMCA, Family Ark, Inc. and the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce. In 2021, he was honored as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Louisville & Southern Indiana Man of the Year.
