BERLIN (AP) — German customs officials said a trail of drool led them to a stash of nearly 100 giant African land snails and other items hidden in bags at Düsseldorf airport this month.

In a statement on Friday, authorities said officials came across one of the snails on a baggage truck and initially thought it was a toy until it started. to move.
